DAN ROOT is a consumate photographer, as evidenced by the cohesive & qualitative pov he shoots from, whether for the most iconic of athletic brands to his own personal photography as he is out and about in the world.
Sports are what brought Dan to shooting, from the “get the shot” documentary approach of a photojournalist to the honed eye of the commercial photographer, whose task it is to make the production always look authentic.
From L.A. to Portland, Oregon, to being a local in the SF Bay Area as well as a resident of Wanaka, the outdoor sports capital of New Zealand, Dan will continue to pursue and capture his love of sports and outdoor lifestyle, culture and action with the same brilliant pov.
