Eightyfive is a multidisciplinary design and motion studio, located in a unique space in Richmond, California. What sets their absolutely stunning and exciting work apart is the high level of innovation, design sensibility, creativity and project management that crosses every T & dots every I on every single project the studio embraces. Founder and Creative Director Joel Berroteran leads a global group of artists whose talents and collaborative orientation match his own.
Joel’s fertile imagination bloomed early in his childhood and his approach to executing his ideas even then was sophisticated, which became a notable hallmark of his talents, so by the time he was out working in his chosen field, top notch companies Obscura, AKQA, Frogdesign, The Mill and Mekanism scooped up Joel to work with them, where he contributed much to the varied and awesome projects he was involved in. Now with Eightfive, his own high level client projects range from the mesmerizing Green Wall for Salesforce, a gorgeous web experience for Mirror and a super set of cool branding commercials for Hoka and more.
Abigail Berroteran is lead Project Manager with more than just detailed management in her bones. She is creative as well, adept at music and the choices thereof for projects and handles complex budgets & timelines like the pro she is.

Adam Schluter wants the whole world to get to know each other - that is to say, he is on a mission to get people talking, namely those who start out as strangers and through dialogue over a dinner or a cup of tea, talk and get to know something about each other. Sometimes the strangers are actually related and a bridge has been provided to them through photography and video set up by Adam and his team to break the ice as they break bread.
How did a once introverted photographer, who has traveled to endless countries documenting the beauty of this world through the portraits of its people, move from behind the camera and connect in a way himself that has brought him to the concept of Bringing Humans Together? Multi-talented is a term that well suits MITCH TOBIAS. He is a photographer, a composer, a musician (in a band named Ape!) and a gifted video director. With Mitch, it all fits together for himself and his clients for the way he lives in the world - holistically, creatively, humorously, collaboratively, all with a lively wink and a nod.
From growing up in Los Angeles with early musical connections and aspirations, to attending Art Center for photography, where he joined forces with fellow art students that are some of the band members he plays with to this day, Mitch eventually made the trek north to Oakland where he works his special blend of happy magic from.
Fun, color, kindness, respect and laughter are the hallmarks of Mitch and he brings this to everything - people matter the most to him and in his work, his pov is to bring a sense of lively color and joy to all he sees before him.

Jon Bowden and Cliff Traiman are veterans of film making with a love of documentary, the human spirit from the serious to the comedic and the desire to bring to light important topics. As a likable and compatible two-brained creative duo, they are also keenly excited by the work they are doing with a wide range of services, products and events for the awesome brands that connect with them.
Their collective skill-set as director, dp, editor and producer, along with their ability to make nimble their productions, keeps them widely sought after for a variety of projects. Clients return & loyalty follows!
